That depends on what you consider successful.
Your view on success can be different than your neighbor's. Everyone views things from a different perspective, one that is programmed and comes from a certain set of life experiences. One person's view of success is another's demise. You may think living the life of a rock star or movie star would be the best life possible, while I view it as the loneliest, most abusive situation you could put yourself through.
My point here is that how you view life has everything to do with what you experience. This is the basis behind The Law of Attraction, you create your reality. The less than 1% of people that have figured this out haven't accidentally fallen on good times, they found a way to get what they wanted. They made it happen because they didn't see it any other way.
What you see is really only a made up picture of what is really there.
What you see or think you see, has everything to do with your success. You have a brain that is basically millions of cells that are able to transmit electricity. It allows you to see, hear, smell, react or feel a certain way.
You could say your brain is nothing but energy flowing in a set pattern that you have made. Your life is only your plan of what you know how to be, and anything else cannot be so because it is not part of you. This is important because your success is determined in a physical real world way, but you live your life in a virtual way that only includes what you know. You can never achieve a real world object, if your mind's plan is to not allow you to do this.
When you see something visually, you are only seeing a reproduced view of what is really going on. The image you see is only an electrical impulse to the brain which converts it into a picture. You are only seeing what your brain lets you see. Along with your other senses, your brain is interpreting your life from only what it knows. This can really alter your view on what is really happening if you see only what you think you see, and then responding accordingly.
I use this to demonstrate.
What colors are these words?
Red
Green
Blue
This example of words that are colored differently than the words they spell can be related to how your brain views reality. Let's say the words (red, green, blue) are real reality; this is what is really happening in life. The colors of the words are your perception of reality, or in other words, how you were taught to see your life. It is very hard to tell your brain that the word red is actually green (even though it is) because when you read the word red your brain is picturing only what you know to be the color red. This alternate experience is very similar to what happens in everyday life. You are experiencing an absolute occurrence in your life, but you can only see what your brain can make out of the situation. When you take a step back and look at what caused these twisted perceptions in life can you evaluate if is correct or not?
Your brain is only a product of the information it receives. Because of society, we believe we are victims of ourselves and we are just the way we are with no reason behind it. This is true, only if you choose to live life reacting to what you see. You are truly living the experience you think you are, but you are not seeing this experience as what is really happening. Your mind can only associate what you see with an experience it knows to be. If you only know to fear life, you will only see life as fearful. If you only know uncertainty or you were taught only disapproval, you can only get this back. You will not view or accept anything else into your reality.
You are a like a plane on auto pilot, it knows to react to turbulence with a certain value and takes that course of action no matter what. Without proper programming to different situations, the plane will crash if it hits turbulence it cannot account for.
You have life experience that has set fears or beliefs in your programming. Without stopping to take a second look, an unbiased, unemotional, rational look, you will continue to live life unaware of what is going on. You will continue to live the same way and get the same things you always have.
What is the Law of Attraction?
The Law of Attraction is how you feel about yourself. You manifest what you think you are capable of because you work for what is familiar to your mind. People who have many millions of dollars do not necessarily have happiness, they have dedicated their life to living the way they are now. The same goes for people that are in poverty, they feel deep inside they are not worth anything so that is the reality they make for themselves. They live in fear instead of seeing opportunity.
Your perceptions are only energy. You can change it's form the same way you formed your perception in the first place. All of your five senses are just a set of values that equal an equation to your brain; you only see, touch, hear, smell and feel what you have learned. This is only your energy flowing and by becoming aware of this energy; it cannot control you or your thoughts. After identifying where your energy is going , you can choose to act in a different way.
Now is the time to change. But how?
If you are not satisfied with your life you must do something to change it. You will receive the same effects you always have by reacting the same way to your programmed point of view. You must change this is some way to get different results.
- Tell yourself what you want.
- Ask yourself, "How are your actions, feelings, thoughts, or your behavior effecting what you get back."
- Evaluate your life and figure out why do you do the things you do.
- Where are the feelings coming from? Why are they there?
- Accept your feelings and change negative thoughts into positive.
When you tell yourself something verbally or you think a thought, it is the same to your brain as living it. Your brain cannot tell between your thoughts and reality, so to tell yourself that you are the opposite of your fears, it is like living it. Use that to your advantage and only think positive thoughts. If you choose to devote all of your thoughts to negative, self depreciating ideas, you will receive that effect in your life. You will make that happen because it is the only thing you know.
This is the same with any success whether it would be monetary, having many friends, relationships, having a new car, or changing the way people treat you. Your life is a product of how you perceive it; if you view anything as impossible, that is what you will accept and get. What happens in your life is because of your view, if you choose to change it, you will get new things because of your new expectations.
