       None of the information and advice is meant to diagnose, cure, or take the place of professional help.   I just want you to think outside the box and question mainstream "health practices" before you make a decision.

       My passion is health.  Everybody has an idea of what they would like their level of health to be.  So take a moment, read this short piece and use the parts that are good for you.  Make a decision to take control of your health, you are the only one who has that power.  Enjoy!



Five tips to a healthier lifestyle!

1)         Think.  Take a moment to close your eyes, what does health look like in your head?  What is it that you want to achieve?  Do you want to keep yourself from getting sick? Fight a current illness?  Look younger?  Feel better? Get off of medication?  Achieve higher levels of energy?  Once you picture it, freeze it in your memory…that image can now be used as your motivation!  It is your goal.

2)         Do your own research.  Only you know what you are looking for and only you have the drive to get what you want.  So find the info you want.  Use the internet, library, bookstore, neighbor, friend, co-worker, doctor, or whomever you come into contact with.  Before you dive in headfirst use the following bit of advice:  STOP and look at the source from which you took the info.  Did that person, author, or professional seem to have the level of health you are looking for?  Did they achieve the results you want?  Do they resemble that image of health you have fixated inside your head?  If not, I would skip there advice or at least put it on hold.

3)        Be the experiment.  This doesn't mean to try any product you can get your hands on or sign up for studies to test new drugs.  What I mean by "be the experiment" is you have to try things that aren't very widely popular.  If you want different results from people you come into contact with everyday, then you must do something different from what they are doing.  If you have been eating certain foods your whole life and have never been healthy, it is time to try something new.  If you have been taking advice from others that hasn't helped you to achieve your ideal self- - toss it out and try something new.

4)        Keep in step with nature.  It would be my advice to stay as close to nature as possible.  I personally trust nature over any doctor, manufacturer, marketing agency, drug company, or food company.  Ask yourself before you purchase a product: do these people have a vested interest? If it doesn't feel right, I steer clear.  Stick to nature, it has been around much longer then we have.

5)        Repeat daily affirmations.  Positivity is what it's all about.  You are in control of your life, your health, and your happiness.  Write down everything that makes you happy, grateful, strong, vibrant, giddy and enthusiastic.  Write down your goals and ideas of who you want to be and what health means to you. Take a minute each morning and evening to read these out loud to your reflection in the mirror.  Make eye contact with yourself and use feeling when repeat your aspirations.  If you feel stupid at first, great, this means that you are pumping yourself up in a way that you've never done before.  Do it over and over and you will soon believe every word that comes out of your mouth.  It is then only natural that action will follow words and you will then achieve your goal.
